Subject: Woman and child injured during car crash
Two people and a four month old child were sent to hospital after a vehicle went off the road into an embankment and rolled on to its top on a Wednesday morning.
The road traffic accident crash involving a child passenger occurred before 9am and the four month old child had to be lifted out through a broken rear window by emergency services. It is believed that the accident could have been fatal had the child not been secure in a carry chair at the rear of the car.
The child had sustained injuries to his legs and chest, the woman passenger also sustained a broken leg.
