Subject: Child suffers fractured skull and brain bleeding after falling in indoor play area
A nine year old child has been left with a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain after he was left to play unsupervised at an indoor play area.
The child’s accident happened when he was playing at an indoor play pen, which contained 10foot high slides and inflatable bouncy castles. The staff who were supposed to have been supervising the children playing were unable to see that the child had climbed up to where was not visible.
The child ended up falling from over 10 foot below to the laminate flooring where he sustained severe child head injuries. The child was rushed to hospital where it was discovered he had suffered a fractured skull and had a bleed on his brain. He has since developed a stutter, memory problems and other emotional ailments.
