Child Injury Compensation– Child fall on climbing frame

A young boy was under supervision of his parents when he slipped on a slippery surface on a climbing frame in a local park, causing bruising to his chest and also a fractured cheek bone when he fell.  The child fell forward towards the wet surface and he collided with the metal frame.

The incident that happened in a local park involving a child occurred when he was playing on a climbing frame which occurred to be slippery which caused him to slip and fall into a metal frame leaving the child with permanent scarring to his face.

The council was instructed to pay £3,700 in Child Injury Compensation as the climbing frame was inspected and was believed to be unsuitable and likely to cause injuries to children in the manner described.
