The incident occurred when she was running across the pitch when her foot got stuck in an uncovered hole, causing her to sprain her arm. The injured child suffered severe pain and thereafter had to attend hospital to get an x – ray. The x – ray shown no sign of a break.
The hospital confirmed a 2 month recovery period was necessary and she was therefore absent from school for 2 weeks post incident.
