The Claimant sustained a deep laceration to the back of his neck when he fell against an exposed screw on a gatepost in the playground of his school.
He was taken to hospital and immediately treated following the incident given the severity of the wound.
Once the wound had healed, the Claimant was left with a visible scar of 4 cm long. The Claimant’s GP advised that the scar would eventually fade with time but would be permanent. The Claimant was two years later awarded with a three figure compensation pay out.
