Child injury stressed hug adultA child aged 2 years at the time of the accident  cut his arm on a broken drainpipe in the nursery he attended.

The drainpipe had been broken for some time and staff at the nursery were aware of it however they still let the child play in the area around it.

The child tended to guard his arm to prevent knocking it and over the first few weeks after the accident he was not as rambunctious as usual.
